Unfortunately we have reluctantly decided to cease all internatioinal orders due to the escalating postage costs and the extra charges made on each order depending where the product is made and what it is. Where USA tariff is supposed to be 10%, I have found that it is indeed over 20% of the purchase value. In addition to the tariff two extra charges are made - 1. administration charges the company which collects the tariff, 2. a Customs charge.
In the past we have subsidised all overseas postage but with the current economical situation worldwide we are unable to continue to subsidise the postage. To our wonderful customers who have been ordering since the days of The Rocks Market in Sydney we are most sorry that we are curtailing sending your treats across the world. Christmas last year was so financially crippling we almost went out of business with the overseas charges and then now we have the added costs as a consequence of the Middle Eastern war and the rise in cost of fuel which impacts on everything.
If you are really desperate to order, you can make an order, leaving it in the abandoned order section, send me an email and I can make some kind of estimate on the postage and extra charges imposed on overseas postage. That then gives you the opportunity to decide whether or not you are prepared to pay all of the extra charges imposed. These extras are only able to be accurately estimated when the actual posting takes place, so there is no sure way of having a proper total of the charges.
